Aloha Friday

This week's question is...............

What is your favorite Children's Book?

My personal favorite is the classic "Make Way for Ducklings" by Robert McCloskey.

To read to Bobby, my favorites are:
"You are My I Love You" by MaryAnn Cusimano and
"On the Night You Were Born" by Nancy Tillman

We have fallen in love with all the Thomas the Train stories. There are some great books.

LIttle B. is only interested in books with trains or trucks. Go figure, he is a boy's boy.

My favorite is "The Little Prince"

Goodnight Moon! Was always one of MY favorites and now is my kids' (not that I influenced them or anything....)

After Sabrina was born my Mom bought me a copy of "You Are My I Love You" and I literally could not read it aloud because I would choke up every time.

Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. My 3 year old loves this book, and I love seeing his face when I read it to him!

It seems my grandchildren are always bringing a different book to me to read.

I have to say I have WAY too many favorite children's books for too many reasons. Thanks to being an elementary education major I read a lot of kiddie literature even before I had my boys. My little guy loves Snuggle Puppy by Sandra Boynton. Just singing it to him calms him.
