In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the fountain in Point State Park in Pittsburgh is dyed pink. I think it's pretty cool, and a great visual reminder to self-check and get regular exams.
My best friend was diagnosed in January 2001 with Breast Cancer when she was only 27 years old. It can happen to any of us-at any time. Thankfully, she had great doctors who put together quite a treatment plan, and she's now a survivor!
Let's take care of ourselves, ladies!
